IT systems in practices NHS Warrington Clinical Commissioning Group is advising patients that some practices are currently experiencing issues with slow IT systems, which may impact upon how quickly practice staff can help.
These issues are not the fault of staff within your GP practice, so please do be patient, they want to help you and will to their best to do so.
The slow access to systems is due to issues with the national N3 network - the national broadband network for the NHS - which is currently being replaced in stages across the country.
Local migration to the new Health and Social Care Network (the replacement for the N3 network) will take place within the next 6-8 weeks and once the work has been completed will provide a reliable and efficient service for GP practices.
Thank you to all local people for their patience in this matter and for supporting your GP practice during the transition period.
Stretton Branch Surgery Patients - We migrated over to a new clinical system on 7th August 2018.
Online Access - Patients who have registered for online access at Stretton Branch Surgery will need to re register when we migrate to the new clinical system. This can be done after the 27th September2018.
